I AM IN!! Newbie here to the flylady thread - read it a few times but new year, new me and all that! Thanks for great start - did a lot today before adding myself here but got lots more to do!

    Bank Holiday Monday

    Level One

    [STRIKE]S[STRIKE] & S kitchen[/STRIKE][/STRIKE]
[STRIKE]Make sure all [STRIKE]uniforms,[/STRIKE] work clothes, [STRIKE]PE kits, etc[/STRIKE] are ready for tomorrow[/STRIKE]
[STRIKE]Put all New Year empty bottles (oops! all bought the MSE way of course!) in recycling[/STRIKE]
Bag to recycling box (local pub car park!) - forgot to take it when visited the 'rents - oops - will take Wed when go to visit nan.
    Level Two
[STRIKE]Get all washing up to date.[/STRIKE]
[STRIKE] Hoover through all high traffic areas.[/STRIKE]
[STRIKE] HH me time - planning for work unfortunately (I know that's not t[STRIKE]he idea of me time but would rather get it done tomorrow!)[/STRIKE] longer than intended as did it for an hour & a half before DH got up, but at least it's mostly done now![/STRIKE]
    Level Three
[STRIKE]It's a BH, spend some time with your family.- CHECK!
[STRIKE]HH decluttering[/STRIKE] - all decs packed and away and in loft. [/STRIKE]
[STRIKE]Think about your aims for this coming year.- [STRIKE]already done exercise plan, [/STRIKE][STRIKE]need to do meal plan as our big aim this year is to eat out/takeaway less and save some money on wasted food - we seem to throw some food away, which I want to stop, so need to plan weekly meals list and [/STRIKE][/STRIKE]
Prepare packed lunches for Tues - WILL DO BY 10pm!
[STRIKE]- [STRIKE]after having done freezer stock check and then shopping list[/STRIKE][/STRIKE]
[STRIKE]Weekly shop - no more than £25 spend is my aim for two of us - will be using up contents of freezer for most meals I hope - should be do-able for essentials and packed lunch stuff + households - not sure if will do this today now or later this week - think we may last 'til the weekend apart from few essentials I can pick up from local shop, save the trek into town on match day![/STRIKE] Did a little shop in local Tesco Express - just enough for the week excluding household stuff for which we can wait and only cost £14!

    Wednesday (4th)
[STRIKE]Nan's birthday - she'll be 95!!! [STRIKE]Need to get card[/STRIKE] and gift sorted for then - [/STRIKE]mum is going to get a nice plant and some flowers for us to give to her - not ideal - I usually like buying gifts myself but it's so tricky buying a 95 year old with Alzheimers something worthwhile so close to Christmas and mum is able to go shopping so I'll leave it to her judgement - sorted!

    Longer term (January):
Take pics and list Ebay stuff
Also aim to overpay more on mortgage - need to figure out how to spread the cash a little better after our New York hol in Feb.
Find a dry day to clean out (blitz!) and wash both cars (with DH's help!)
Sort car insurance for me and home insurances for Mama & MIL
    Energy Switch
Sort out and shred all old paperwork in filing cabinet & file newer paperwork

Lose weight....it's taken me ages to lose 3 stone (from April 2010 to December 2011) but just weighed myself and :eek::eek::eek::eek::eek: - 9lbs heavier this morning than beginning of December - much gymming and healthy eating needed to get back on track me thinks...this will be my year!!

I'm really getting the hang of this I think (hope I'm doing it right!) Loving all your updates!

    Sazzy

    MARRIED MR E - 22nd Dec 2010 - technically now sazzye!:j
AIMS FOR 2012: LOSE WEIGHT/GET FIT! PREPARE FOR BABY-TRYING! OVERPAY MORTGAGE BEFORE MOVING HOUSE, DO UP HOUSE TO MOVE, SAVE SAVE SAVE - SOLICITORS FEES, STAMP DUTY ETC ETC. :eek:HELP HELP HELP!
