Happy new year to all and a warm welcome to new joiners.

I'm most definately in this week thanks for the list JulieJim. I have to work full time this week so I really need to be organised.

I'm very tired, didn't get home til 5am so my bed is calling me.
  • Count me in on this one this year please, achieved quite a bit today but written myself a list of daily jobs (once I have done my full time work and cooked the dinner for starving teenagers and DH), I am hoping if I can get 'bits' done during the week that on Fridays when I don't work I can have more me time

Extras - managed to get teenage DD2 out of bed to help me clear her floor so that I could hoover and dust - took me over an hour to sort it all out but at least she now has a floor (though how long it will last is anyone's guess!) :rotfl:

I have done a menu plan for the next few days and written a shopping list for Mr T. DH has said he will go to MrT so that I can iron then get my new steam toy out.
Off to bed now with my book which seems to be taking forever to read.

I'm in again this week - thank you juliejim :T

Welcome to all newbies - good to have you in the madhouse! :D

Tomorrow I will be mostly planning the introduction to the INSET day I'm doing on Tues!! My mind is quite blank at the moment so it could be a very boring hour for the rest of the staff!!!

As it's a new year, I'm thinking about organising a Flylady meet somewhere down south for anyone who's interested. It's been ages since a group of us has met up for a good natter. Will think about a weekend in Feb / March time. More to follow but feel free to let me know if you may be interested.

    Ok, list needed ..............

boddy - how awful! My DS1 is 17 and this just doesn't bear thinking about. My thoughts are with his family and friends. Hope your GS is coping.
  • I am in again this week :D Thanks Juliejim for the listies :T

I have had a slow start today, but have been quite productive. After watching a film in bed & then getting up at 11am  I decided to take advantage of the fact that a lot of the toys etc are out of the DR & in the summerhouse (to be brought back in on Tuesday when I am back working), and vax'd the DR carpet (long overdue!). I also cleaned the paintwork behind the furniture i moved. I then took the dog out (in the pouring rain - should have taken a snorkel!!), while DD1 was cleaning the kitchen & DD2/DS were hoovering the hall. I then cleaned the hall carpet (while I had the washer out :)). I am now sitting in a rather cluttered LR, as all the DR furniture (that I could move) is still in here! I am making sure that the floor is REALLY dry :p

I was hoping that DH would be home today (has been away since Thursday, after being away all Christmas as well ), but he isn't and I am not sure he will be home tomorrow either :( On a positive note - he is being paid for all this overtime, so i have booked a Florida holiday on the proceeds :j (on his say so, of course :)). So we have that to look forward to :T

Need to get organised, so will post my lists in a mo :)

Happy New Year to all my Flylady friends , and hugs, sticks & spoons to those that need them
