    ho hum...

went to get new headlamp bulb. On way out spotted gift bag that mum had asked to have back (to reuse;)) which I gave her earlier but she forgot to take it and then her keys (for my house) in my back door. So went to buy bulb, took keys and bag to mums then realised I had left car manual at car spares place so went back to car spares place.

    came home
    pegged out washing
    had lunch
went to fit bulb - for the life of me I couldn't get the old one out so back to car spares place (3rd visit) and could they fit it, please - was warned if it took any time they'd have to charge - anyway took 5 minutes so they didn't...:money:

With the help of some G 'n' R I've managed to pack left over Christmas presents into smaller boxes ready to go in the attic, tidy the waredrobe, sort through the waredrobe drawers, sorted through my handbag collection ;) found 1 to sell :o found some other bits for the CS also found -

    A cat collar :undecided
Half a packet of sticky "Throaties"
3 out of date work parking permits
A tooth (bearing in mind my youngest is 13 :o)
    An eraser
    2 pens
    A lip balm
    A purse I'd forgotten about :)
    A pocket diary 2011 and a notebook
A T-mobile sim card  I'm o2 and have been for years! So God knows where thats come from
A bunch of unknown keys (I think they could be old work ones that were my dads that he gave me when he became ill)
£1.35 :D (now in my piggie bank)
And about a weeks worth of Tampax

Another load in the WM, got something for dinner out, written a meal plan for 2 weeks and found that some how the chest freezer plug has a huge crack in it  so it's now un plugged I'll go to the electric place round the corner in a bit to get a new one.
I just let DC4 in the back door to see that the fence panel from the other neighbours, one I am technically responsible for _pale_ has fallen down  I think for now I won't have see it and see what happens :shhh:

I've not achieved a lot in house today apart from normal washing, making beds & washing up. Been in garden tidying after storm damage last night. Roof tiles now coming down so going to stay indoors and just have me time while the wind does it's worst.
Spend less now, work less later.

washing on line - decided to strip DS's bed a day early, while I was repairing it (as the bedding had to come off anyway - two birds one stone and all that) so then I decided to wash it - and now it's stopped raining but it's breezy (understatement of the year :rotfl:) I figured it just *might* dry. The other wash load I pegged out earlier did!
Kitchen clean, floor mopped, mats drying outside (I have a rubber 'well' mat - a two part thing and rainwater collects under it the well bit (it's a great dirttrap but I have had this years and years) and an ordinary mat - also damp!

    Now off to the bathroom!

    Afternoon all

I've done the bathroom and toilet today. Washing all caught up now, I've put a couple of towels on the line but we've had bits of rain so it didn't seem worth trying to put it all out, the rest is draped round inside. Got down and washed the kitchen floor by hand. One of the cats seems to deliberately go out and find mud to trample in and then walk it all round the floor Grrr. The other one hardly ever gets muddy. She's a lady ;)

Sorted through the wardrobes, I only threw one thing of mine (that's because I haven't got much) and a couple of DH's jumpers that were really past it. Have to do it when he's not looking because he wants to keep everything. He's got about 15 coats and that's after me making him get rid of 3 last year!

Feeling a bit down today, I've been pretty good lately but I fear the January blues are setting in. I'm trying to keep busy.
