The toy cupboard has been emptied and sorted. :j I've filled a rubbish bag, a black bag for the charity shop and have a box full to sell. Better make a start on Ds2's room now.

    upstairs bathroom blitzed.
already put kids clothes in WM so no drying room for bedding.
Kids rooms hoovered and paintwork washed down.
HM pie to construct when boys home (pastry relaxing in fridge, fillling made). They will enjoy puting the tops on and egg washing - making muffin tin pies. Loaf in breadmaker. 1st go. Doesn't look promising..........

  • Good afternoon :D

DH is home :j (briefly :() He has to go back to work tonight, but that is only 10 miles away, and not right across the country :) he will be back tomorrow. that means that we have been able to take down the decs, and the boxes are all back in the loft :j (some years ago, they had been known to sit on the landing until June!)
LR dusted and hoovered, and put back how it should be. DH has walked the dog (while there was a brilliant blue sky). It is going black again now - just in time for the school run :(

I have done some paperwork this morning. I have sorted out the pet insurance (automatic renewal, so I normally leave it too late :o). I have cancelled at £24.92 p.mth and gone with £17.10 per month - for higher cover, lower excess & cashback as well :money:Yay me!!

I think I will quickly scrub the loo before the school run. I know how to live!! :p

[/STRIKE]HHPaperwork - need to find my MOT as I have a feeling it's due this month. That'll be my job for tonight.

HH decluttering - will try and have a pop at the playroom once the children are in bed.

Flying high today! Didn't do any dusting as it looked OK but all else done including chasing our empty recycling bins down the road - bet I looked ridiculous!
The roads are such a mess with bins being blown over and empty cans etc having been blown out of recycling bins (the lids are useless).
Children and I have done a recce down our road and tidied up most of it but still...

Having a 5 min break, we don't appear to have made even a small dent in it. There's tons and tons of stuff left to sort through. I'm surprised how much is there considering how teeny tiny his room is.
