If your face doesn't fit on the Arms and you try to start a thread they close it. Only regulars allowed in there even though they will prb deny it:( Are you having probs on the ebay board? The odd time I posted questions etc I always got decent answers, but then like everywhere on mse there is people who are members just to post carp or nasty/sarcastic comments (apart from here ;))

I don't often start threads on the eBay board but occasionally read or post replies if I know the answer to help others. It is the same crowd over there who know it all and if you don't follow their advice you're doing it the wrong way even if there is no wrong way. :o There is some helpful posters but also some very sarcastic and rude regulars which I never notice on the other boards I read/post on.

I think I will have a look over on the Arms thread. ;) If I don't come back you know they have held me hostage.

Def Old Age applies.....just hope it helps....sometimes there is lots of stuff whirring away in the background that you don't need...best thing is to google the things that are runnng and ask if they are important and there will be someone out there that will have asked the same question and a proper techie peep will have answered it.
My laptop was runnng slow, so I googled for help and was given the advice I posted, so can't take any credit at all...it does work though....
Feet up for me now, ipad switchng off, time for telly watching...been baking this afternoon, cooked a super duper rich fruit cake , took over 4 hours to bake, got to ice it tomorrow...made cheese scones too, going have one now with a glass of milk.....

I'll give the cake a miss cos I'm not fond of fruit cake with or without Icing but you could have made more cheese scones and sent:cool: The alternative is the recipe on here when you got more time please.
Be thankful for what you have because it could all be taken away tomorrow.;)

If your bored try starting a thread on there and you will soon have them crawling outta the woodwork. No matter what it is about someone will post asking why you started it. ;)

Hello Stranger. How's the seaside? I am still barred. There is nothing I can do to get my paypal account back, which means I cannot get my ebay account re opened cos paypal told them to shut it. I do now know 99% sure it is because of my brother and him selling stuff he shouldn't. Even though I live in different areas 100's of miles away and have had no contact via ebay or paypal for at least a year they have linked me with him because we used to send money via paypal and have the same last name:(

Do you know a way around it? I stopped shopping at the B shop we had in common as the last time I got soo much hassle even though I bought everything I just decided it wasn't worth going there. The H store never gives me any trouble but not my nearest store unless there is a good offer with coupons to travel that distance.

Apart from ebay what else you up to?

    That is terrible Blue :(:(

Change your name by deed pole?? :p

Only joking - it's not a laughing matter I am sure, I would try what Doc says, set it all up in your OH's name and then when it is things to be sent to you use your name. For example, when my daddy ordered something for me on Amazon he paid for it using his CC, but sent it to my address using my name.

    Hope this makes sense lol

Anyone waiting on results from a JTD yesterday?? Put it in yesterday am nothing yet...
