    Hi Jonty,

I too am with Talk Talk and was reaching the end of my patience with the broadband speed, but then I switched browser from Internet Explorer (version 7 I think) to Google Chrome and suddenly everything is much quicker. Might be worth a try if you are using IE.

Hi Genmod, thanks for advice :)

I'm using Firefox but am trying to download latest version at the mo. Have run virus and malware scans but they are showing as clear. Have restarted computer and broadband speed as we speak is an amazing 576kbps :(.

Getting random timed out messages when trying to access sites I use most days (including MSE). Don't know what else to look at so will ask DS to look at it at the weekend

Nice to hear from you, hope everythings ok :)

Have you got lots of things running everytime you turn on your computer....bottom right on the toolbar...are there a lot of icons...you can find out what programmes are running everytime you turn on your computer by clicking Start , then run ,then enter, then in the box type msconfig..or msconfig.exe...you then get System Configuration , click on the Startup tab and you will see what is running, uncheck things you want to disable, they will still be available for you on you computer , just wont run everytime you start it up, all these programmes running when you don't eant them too really slows down your computer......hth

    all this from techie me...oooerrr!!

You still barred blue??? Blimey - you must have been a really naughty girl :D

Anyway, thanks to you (i spotted your name as i searched for ebay related items) - i now have a shiny new sim on its way. Its time for a number change. Cheers blue :p

Hello Stranger. How's the seaside? I am still barred. There is nothing I can do to get my paypal account back, which means I cannot get my ebay account re opened cos paypal told them to shut it. I do now know 99% sure it is because of my brother and him selling stuff he shouldn't. Even though I live in different areas 100's of miles away and have had no contact via ebay or paypal for at least a year they have linked me with him because we used to send money via paypal and have the same last name:(

Do you know a way around it? I stopped shopping at the B shop we had in common as the last time I got soo much hassle even though I bought everything I just decided it wasn't worth going there. The H store never gives me any trouble but not my nearest store unless there is a good offer with coupons to travel that distance.

Apart from ebay what else you up to?
Be thankful for what you have because it could all be taken away tomorrow.;)
