Does BT think demoting this thread will shut you all up :cheesy:

Nope, BT said that [STRIKE]we[/STRIKE] "me" talk too much crap!!!! & we are always on the 1st page of 1st or 2nd rows after sticky thread so BT decided to unstick us, as no one will miss us!:p:D:D

We love BT anyway, we even asked BT to transfer us back to "Arms" but BT is not in good terms with the "Arms" board guide thread (they are a bit grouchy and miserable over there and they don't like us:(, it's like shopping at Tesco over Arms Forum! you get trouted ):rotfl:

Have you got lots of things running everytime you turn on your computer....bottom right on the toolbar...are there a lot of icons...you can find out what programmes are running everytime you turn on your computer by clicking Start , then run ,then enter, then in the box type msconfig..or msconfig.exe...you then get System Configuration , click on the Startup tab and you will see what is running, uncheck things you want to disable, they will still be available for you on you computer , just wont run everytime you start it up, all these programmes running when you don't eant them too really slows down your computer......hth

    all this from techie me...oooerrr!!

I was going to say, it doesn't matter if the thread is a Sticky or not - it will always be at the top. I am not saying you all like to talk or anything :D

I have never been over on that board but it can't be as bad as the regular posters on the eBay board

If your face doesn't fit on the Arms and you try to start a thread they close it. Only regulars allowed in there even though they will prb deny it:( Are you having probs on the ebay board? The odd time I posted questions etc I always got decent answers, but then like everywhere on mse there is people who are members just to post carp or nasty/sarcastic comments (apart from here ;))

No change on mine either. I still have the warning and processing. SSM have stopped replying to peoples posts as well:( I just wish they would let us know wether they are paying out or not.

I haven't had a warning but I am not posting until they make up their minds because I don't want to give people the chance to report me just out of spite.

I noticed that SSM have stopped replying to people's posts. I feel the same as you, just let us know if we have won this stuff or not.

Def Old Age applies.....just hope it helps....sometimes there is lots of stuff whirring away in the background that you don't need...best thing is to google the things that are runnng and ask if they are important and there will be someone out there that will have asked the same question and a proper techie peep will have answered it.
My laptop was runnng slow, so I googled for help and was given the advice I posted, so can't take any credit at all...it does work though....
Feet up for me now, ipad switchng off, time for telly watching...been baking this afternoon, cooked a super duper rich fruit cake , took over 4 hours to bake, got to ice it tomorrow...made cheese scones too, going have one now with a glass of milk.....
