    thanks for patience, clarification got

as this does not involve any altering/editing the coupon it seems its going to be ok.
    BUT
no posting about multi sheets as this isn't allowed AND definately NO
no physical editing of the main coupon ie multiple prints on a singlepage, editing barcodes or dates (THANKS BT)

SO to get rid of rubbish around coupon to save ink and just print the coupon you can do the below.

    - open PDF
    - click edit in tool bar
    - click take snapshot
    - highlight coupon (so it has a blue box around it)
    - press print

    this just prints the coupon

small note of apology to any who posted about this previously and has posts moved/deleted.
    seems this alone is ok.

First of all, thank you MT for all your hard work, and to the posters who have helped me save money, with lots of coupons. I've seen, and understand, that coupons cannot be edited, so that, for example, you increased the value, but late last year, someone posted how to print the "bottom half" of an A4 coupon, so the background blurb wasn't showing.

I think the term was "highlighting and printing the blue bit"! Sorry, I'm not technical.:o Is this allowed, and if it is, could some kind soul explain how you do it please? Thank you.

    xx

as long there is no physical edit of the main coupon , ie multiple prints on a singlepage, editing barcodes or dates I would assume thats ok

    hi SS

sorry can't reply in detail yet

as this has arisen again in a few post i've asked for clarification as to whether it breaks the rules of no editing/altering of coupons.

so please can i ask that no one post a reply to this until i find out 100%

I can understand the reasons for not editing dates/ barcodes but can somebody please explain why it's not allowed to print couple of coupons on a single page to save the paper?? Tia

Thanks again tessietwo, I've printed off a few coupons without all the "junk", just the "original" coupon. Saves a bit of ink and I know it scans OK.
I wish manufacturers would give an option just to print the coupon, sometimes you have to use loads of background ink just to get the coupon. Highlighting just the coupon helps.

Looks like we can save ink then, wish I had used the tips last year.
