im not sure if im posting this in the correct thread so apologies if im wrong. Ive just gone to tesco to do a shop armed with my coupons and at the till got told they no loger accept co-op money off spend vouchers. Is this across the board or store specific does anyone know? I know they took them toward the end of last year so this must be a new policy, cant find the blinking T&C's to check though :(

it stopped 30 October 2011, a second black friday :(

MT put the details about it on last thread, their reason for not accepting competitor's spend x and save x coupons is because of their new low pricing scheme..... yeah right!

:( I have emailed them anyway and moaned that there was no information stating the new policy and that if i had known I would have gone to co-op instead. Doubt ill get very far but you never know till you try :(

    hi vicx
    thanks for posting

    but already on 1st pages
    and offer on shop list

    Hi,

I typed McCain into the search but it didn't bring up any thread so started a new one and it has been moved to this Coupon thread.

Not sure what you mean by 1st pages or shop list? 1st page takes me back to 2007 posts...

first page is current posts. What the Board Guides do is copy the current first posts and paste them into a new thread. When you do this, it retains the original date of the thread. so even though we are in 2012, it will always show 2007, as there is so much information, rather than copying and pasting into a new thread, with new date, this is what the Board Guide does.

A board guide has moved your mccain post to here, as it belongs in the coupon thread.

And we already knew about the coupons :) check out first few pages, there are lots of coupons you may not know about.

You learn something new everyday :) This thread was taking too long to load on my phone so I'm now on the laptop to have a quick look through. I thought the first page was old coupons but can see it's updated and so many links to different ones. I will have a proper look through when I have more time and see if I can save more pennies with the many coupons.

I would like to say a big thanks to my sis Auto armadillo for telling me what wobbling and trouting is and for taking time to show me all the voucher sites and explained to me how it works. just saved £3 at Mr s with vouchers for cleaning products.
I have been trouted once but he was lovely with it I did not feel embarrassed
    Happy shopping and bargain hunting
Mortgage debt 45,000. Thank you all for your help so far in helping me save to buy the house. I could not have done this without all your help.
