For the phone harassment, I suggest a truecall device. I would give a link, but the one I found tonight does not work. But googling should turn up some sellers.

a good solicitor or citizens advice- she can get legal aid for divorce if needed- def restraining order & call the local womens aid- my friend has just had to do all this & the csa do help i have personally had a great deal of assistance from them despite an ex hubby who moves every six months they have pursued him and i now recieve regular payments. i would say to her good luck & be strong- no one should have to go through an abusive relationship.

She is going for a change this year, is buying 'truecall' and applying to the court for a divorce. She has seen some therapist but still, is afraid of the unknown, I hope she has a better life in the future.

    Someone....is giving out her number.

If she's changed it via her phone provider AND made it ex-directory.....AND she's made it clear to the phone provider why she's changing it yet again......then there's a *leak* somewhere.

She needs to change it again. When it's given to family members, start with the closest. And instruct them under no circumstances must they share it with anyone without checking with her first. If necessary, do them 1 at a time. She will no doubt have to tell them why......but that is the only method i found would work.

And 5 years later, it's still working.
