Hi all an update. She just tried to transferred £1 in the new a/c with the a/c that was given during the application and they accepted the payment to the new
a/c. So looks positive then !! However when she tried to enter the new account number and sort code and the pin using telephone banking, it accepted the details but just gave the balances for her Old a/c.

The system will not update now until Tuesday night.
The account is now showing in on-line banking.
However under Account Name it says "*Details Unavailable", also not letting order a cheque book in account admin says "Service temporarily Unavailable".
Any advice on what could this mean ? Thanks in advance.

I suspect it means they haven't fully decided on the credit services they want to offer her. Hopefully someone more knowledgeable will be along to clarify this.
