New radiators

Happy new year all
Will be having a new valiant boiler and valiant unistor cylinder fitted soon and will need to have most of my radiators replaced, can anyone reccomend a good quality longlasting radiator.
I have been looking at the stelrad elite range, any good?
thanks

Dunno about the elite - I have had stelrad softline radiators fitted recently and they are very warm.

most new rads are crap and thin they will do the job
circa fernox f1/f3 clean/inhibit your system
screwfixes budget range seem okay to me
at least the washer mounts/plastic slots are big which is
    a breath of fresh air

they do not rattle the domestic user complained
about a silly piece of plastic
    and someone at screwfix

    took an interest
the thick plastic radiator " easy clips "

    make the installation better

gosh someone english was tired of expansion/conraction hoorah

radiators rattle and they are noisy when temperature increases and decreases ......expansion of metal occurs
big radiator clips are " good " hello
hairfelt wrapped around your pipework in joist notches
a 1 metre length of copper pipework getting hot expands by 1mm
therfore a 3m length of copper pipework hot expands by 3mm
on corners it cracks and splits

    IF IN DOUBT ASK
A VENTURI IS SIMPLY A WHIRLPOOL CREATING NEGATIVE AND POSITIVE PRESSURES

Stelrad will be fine. I recently put 5 new DeLonghi rads in my own house, very nice looking but can't comment on how long they'll last.
    Avoid any budget range!

school style radiators use more metal and more hot central heating water

therefore are less efficient than modern rads

    which are crap

    a much of a muchness

    basically all crap

the actual hot water part of a modern radiator is two thirds
    pressed metal
    and one thirds heat
    not very efficient

go for a wocester sealed system boiler cat a
and a heatre sadia unvented hot water system
    200 litre at least
heatra sadias nasa engineers did a good job on that megaflow cylindr
  • nasa heating engineers designed the heatre sadia megaflow
and it is megga " wow "

Bit of a pity that are now owned by Baxi then. Never mind.
