Can't login to BT Openzone Wi-Fi using Android phone

I'm a Vodafone customer and I'm currently trying to use BT Openzone Wi-Fi as I have 1GB of Wi-Fi usage a month on top of my regular 500MB mobile internet. When I go onto the BT Openzone page on my phone I just can't log in, I'm just wondering if there's anything I'm doing wrong? Do I have to be in a certain area in order to log in? I've just recieved an email confirming I've registered for Wi-Fi but I can't figure it out, I'm using my Vodafone account details like it says to do here.

    I recently upgraded to a Vodafone contract that includes mobile data and BT Openzone wifi, but like the others posting in this thread I've been having trouble for at least 3 weeks when logging in to BT Openzone hotspots.

    But here's a key bit of information that none of the many Vodafone staff I've spoken to has told me: When you scan on your mobile for wifi networks, not all the networks which are named "BT Openzone" are really BT Openzone hotspots - many are BT FON hotspots which are not available for use under the Vodafone/BT Openzone scheme.

    Unfortunately, when you try to connect and login on a wifi network that's named "BT Openzone" when it's actually BT FON, "btopenzone" appears in the URL of the login page, and one of the login options is to login using a BT Openzone account. It's only if you look at the top of the login page that you'll notice the message "Welcome to this BTFON Hotspot". But on a real BT Openzone hotspot that's accessible to Vodafone customers, the banner at the top of the page will clearly show "Openzone".     Sadly, this will undoubtedly continue to cause confusion for Vodafone customers until (if!) BT stop using "BT Openzone" as the network name (SSID) of their BT FON hotspots.
