Ahhh, they have two suites! I just copied this from the package they sent me..

Formal set up of top table with sprigs is available up to 120 people or informal set up with round tables. Table set up needs to be discussed with a wedding co-ordinator as maximum numbers apply to each set up.

Top Table: Maximum of 12 persons (one long table with people sitting on one side facing guests) Round Table: Maximum of 8 persons (inclusive of children & high chair spaces) per table Maximum of 9 round tables plus top table = 84 guests for wedding breakfast

I also looked at the Russell Hotel but it's about £75 a head not including the evening . Like you, I also did a double take at the cost of Turkey Mill (but again, I had friends get married there so it's a no-go). The Village hotel is just a bit boring although it is by the river which would be some nice photo opportunities and I am kinda running out of ideas after that lol :rotfl:

Very happily married on 10th April 2013 :D

I went to a busy wedding fayre yesterday and managed to find our wedding car!

OH has been quite picky about the car but he likes it and I love it, it is perfect and the price is very reasonable. I just have to organise transport for the bridesmaids!

Over half of our wedding list is sorted now, I just wish I didn't have to wait so long.

The wedding is about the Bride and Groom, and I think it's great that the groom is getting involved and excited about it! I didn't think that my OH would want to be so involved but he loves going to all the wedding fayres etc.....

We will also both be a mess on the day!

Yay im also a 2013 bride to be. We haven't set a date yet but will probably be sometime June or July. We are planning for a ceremony and reception in France (everytime i tell someone that that, they assume we are having some big posh wedding but it wont be like that) We love France, Brittany in particular and would much rather have a week away with friends and family than one expensive day in this country. Anyway im the other Mrs Martin Lewis, i never buy or do anything unless its a bargain or a deal so im hoping/planning to have the wedding of my dreams well within our budget.

Venues are a nightmare at the moment as obviously until we go and have a look we cant make any decisions, i just want to set a date!!! x
  • ahhhhhhhhhhhhh! :j
