Mobile Phone & Tariff for Mum

Getting my mum a mobile. Looked at the Sagem VS4, which looks to be pretty
basic and she should be able to work it.

I am also looking at a pay as you go tariff as we don't expect her to use
the phone much, more for emergency calls, so we need a tariff where the
credit doesn't expire after say 2 months. What I would like is to be able to
buy say £50.00 of credit and that stays valid for 12 months or more.

Is this possible.

Any suggestions would be most appreciated.

My mum has this phone and is very pleased with it. Being a Nokia its sooooo easy to use, and she really doesnt need camera etc.

Tesco Mobile is excellent for PAYG:

• Uses O2 network, so excellent coverage

• Calls to 3 favourite numbers, any network, cost 10p
• No expiry on credit
