I saw that too. Strange woman. There's an idea for you though Rosemary why not make a tea cup candle or your own lip balm? I actually though the tea cup candle looked really sweet.

yes did think of that as christmas candles have too much wax for wick so have had to pour some off to stop the candle going out which was strange as the woman on tv seemed to have more wick than wax:rotfl:will have to see if local craft shop sells wicks as won't be cost effective to order online due to postage .....but then I would have to drive to next town to see if charity shops have any tea cups plus buy the candle to do beeswax balm....mmmmmmmmm do I really have the time for this?got to finish the flower arrangemenst to take round to friends today as well as going to aqua fit at 11.30.have so far made 14 jars of marmalade,15 flower arrangements and 6 bowls of bulbs all at £2.50 each minus 10% to church so fingers crossed I sell a lot as have spent about 3 days doing it all plus cost of raw materials....not really a money spinner more helping a friend get the coffee mornings going:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Just reporting my final UU's and purchases for Jan

    UU's

The Nivea Q10 handcream thats been spluttering finally died a death - W(Probably)BA if I didn't have so many others in my stash. Have opened an Elle McPherson one now.

VO5 weather resistant hairspray - WBA when on offer - I buy whatever hairspray is on offer and am now on can Aussie spray & shine from the sale shelf in Mr B's.

    And the purchase:o

2 X V large cans of Batiste tropical. They were on offer for half price and I go through this stuff very quickly so........... In my defence I'd none in my stash - only the one can that's in use :p

Off to catch up with the Feb thread

I have been rather keen on greys for quite a while, wondered about Steel Appeal, but have not seen it IRL or on the screen, so will have to do some research! I was tempted to bid on a Color Club Revvolution on *bay, this was raved about by the US nail girls when it came out, managed to resist temptation this time......

I wouldn't really recommend Steel Appeal. I think it is the worst lacquer formula that I own. It applies very streakily and takes a good 4 coats to look good. Some greys just don't suit my skin tone though.
Back for the No Buying Toiletries challenge. I pledge to only buy when I run out of a product that is not already in my stash no matter what wonderful emails land in in my Inbox or threads I read on MSE re: glitches!
