Was that in Boots? I love philosphy - I don't need anything but a walk tomorrow lunchtime would be good exercise and I could just sniff and not buy - or could I?????

Have just spotted your signature scottishminnie. Carousel of Progress is MrM's favourite attraction at MK.
Back for the No Buying Toiletries challenge. I pledge to only buy when I run out of a product that is not already in my stash no matter what wonderful emails land in in my Inbox or threads I read on MSE re: glitches!

Does anyone use their perfume Karma? I was at a meeting today and my colleague had it on and the smell reminded me of Clinique Simply which I absolutely loved but is discontinued - can any of you suggest anything else that might be similar?

I too used to love Simply. I am using DKNY Golden Delicious (bit cheesy that name isn't it?) at the mo which is very similar.

OK last UU for this month:-

The small bottle of conditioner that comes with the Garnier Nutrisse hair colour kit. Wouldn't buy on it's own as I have others that work better.

So I think I've had a good month.

10 UUS, 2 TAs, 1 Swapsie (clinique mascara) - saved £10.00 in my pot. 4 INs totalling a spend of £6.92. I was aiming to save more than I spent so am pleased.

Have repainted my nails tonight as well: toes OPI Mrs O'Leary's Barbeque - fingers Leighton Denny Steel Appeal.

See you all in Feb. x

Thanks - will look out for this and try a tester when I am next in Boots or John Lewis. I just hope I can find something - I like Estee Lauder Sensuous but when I got a waft of the perfume this morning it made me realise that Simply was just gorgeous. Not sure why Clinique discontinued it as it was much nicer than Happy which just gives me a headache whenever I wear it for some reason.

I have been rather keen on greys for quite a while, wondered about Steel Appeal, but have not seen it IRL or on the screen, so will have to do some research! I was tempted to bid on a Color Club Revvolution on *bay, this was raved about by the US nail girls when it came out, managed to resist temptation this time......

  • Final Ins of the month 4 x Mitchum powder fresh deos from Mr A's as they are on special so got the last ones on the shelf and none in the stash!

Still no sign of my You LIB box but as I have declared it in Jan I won't carry it over to Feb :-)

last out of the month for me, used up a L'occitane grapeseed bath elixir. Liked the smell, skin feels nice, but the range has been discontinued. Onward with the stash!

Noticed that Avon are doing their Kids sun lotion for Cheap so have a couple of those coming for the summer, but doesnt count for me =)
  • last out of the month and it's a chuck out never ever to be bought again bottle of cutex nail polish remover. I used this on Sunday to take my polish off before work (not allowed to wear nv in work) and my fingers are now dry and cracked despite putting on handcream constantly. It's acetone free but really harsh, back to the Quickies for me.

See you all on the February thread, xx

    Hi

I went to buy my L'Occitaine free hand cream - & didn't buy anything!!! I also needed to walk past the TBS on the way there and way back. I popped in but didn't buy anything - yippee.

Can I just ask do people put money in a pot when they have a UU?

I have final three UU for January
TBS Wise Woman Night Cream - WBA quite liked it. Normally £20 a pot, but I got it on offer together with the day cream. Not sure if I would buy at full price.
Boots Soltan sun tan lotion - using up as Body lotion as such a waste to pop in bin
Clarins Hand and Nail Treatment - WBA definitely love the smell. It was actually a present, vut would definitely buy again if I didn't have so many hand creams in my stash.

    Will update my signature.

I have just updated my signature. I need to do a complete check, but at the moment the stash spreadsheet runs to 450 rows!! Would like to get this down to 250 items as I said.

We need tootpaste this month. Does anyone know of any offers on the stand up containers (can't think what they are called)
