Don't think like this! There are plenty of people here (myself included) who only PAD on weekdays. And only 5 days a week is still better than none.

    Just keep going!

I met a Dutch girl with inflatable shoes last week. I phoned her up to arrange a date, but unfortunately she'd popped her clogs.

Mrsb is right, there is no letting down of anyone on this thread :) Even if you make a payment once a week, it's still extra towards your debt... I don't make pads every day, especially near payday :D

  • i've decided i will be moving into MrS's flat but need to tell my housemate for sure, want to tell her in person but hardly see her at the moment.

    RANT ALERT:

I've just been looking for saving account details for him so he can transfer money to pick his new car up tonight and i've found yet more stuff of his exes. Now, I know he can't erase every trace of her (photos etc are being kept in a bag somewhere) as they were together for 8 years... but do I really need to be finding lip gloss, eyeshadow, paperwork with just her name on it, cards about how much he loves her and she is his best friend???? he says exactly the same to me then wonders why i get funny about it!! i know he can't change his past but he can damn well ensure the present is clear for the future!!! i was sorting out his paperwork last night (yeah, i know i shouldn't do it for him but it was bugging me and a welcome distraction from uni work) and there are big gaps from where he just shoves his statements etc anywhere yet then expects me to hunt for it when he needs it!! i've made it very clear to him that the flat needs to be sorted out from top to bottom and put into some sort of order before i move in as i can't cope with him not knowing where anything is and getting mad about it - he lost his usb thing for wireless laptop and his charger for his trimmer and was going crazy trying to find it. i haven't found the charger but when i tidied up all his paperwork off the floor the tiny little usb thingy was underneath it!! i just smugly pointed out that being organised is clearly a benefit not a bane so he needs to pull his finger out.

I know he is male (sorry to all the men out there) so his mind works differently but i know i can't live with him if it means forever having to do this stuff for him... i don't mind helping, and if i really didn't want to do it, i wouldn't, but he needs to show some sign of doing it for himself!! I haven't been at work for weeks so it's different at the moment, but i'll be back to work soon and with uni work, he can't just assume i don't have anything i need to do while he is at work!

    RANT OVER.

Sorry... just really annoyed at the moment!

Lol Psycho you haven't even moved in yet!!! Sadly not everyone thinks the way we do. There has to be compromise when living together, which, unfortunately, sometimes means letting men be men :D (again, sorry to the male PaDders :p) Ultimately, he may decide to change his ways, but it's slippery ground to feel you have to try to change someone. If you keep doing stuff for him anyway there's no motivation for him to do it at all! He should be a little more discreet with past memories though if he doesn't want to let them go. Deep breaths hun! ;)

£7 please. 2 days til payday, which is slightly earlier due to Christmas and then I can pay off this particular debt which will be worth a big whoop of excitement from me :p
One step at a time ;)
  • I'm calm again now thanks Hopeful :) Don't want to change him, just 'improve' him :D He says he thought he cleared it all out but her stuff is literally everywhere! I think I'm just annoyed this morning as he only decided as he left that he wanted to get car tonight instead of friday but it's not him that has to find all the stuff to get payment sorted right this very minute.... x
