Evening - and Happy PAD Year!

Thanks to Hopeful for counting in December and to vinternet for January!

My Pad today is £35.84 to the mortgage and loan - I'm going to tackle the loan this year - would love to pay off the balance of £21,000 but am aiming for £15,000 which is normal payments of about £7200 and the rest being Padded - this means I will be neglecting Padding to the mortgage, but ho-hum!

    Cheers!!!

HAPPY PADDING NEW YEAR TO YOU ALL!!!

What an amazing total both for December and for 2011 and thanks to all the counter uppers, especially Hopeful for December.

Don't know about sorting out the deficit but it does sound as if we're refinancing the banks all by ourselves:rotfl:

Like several others on here I feel now is the time for renewed efforts to get this cracked once and for all so today starting off on the right foot with £405, plse.

Oh and I can totally see where you're coming from with needing savings to cover tax bill or business expenses like a new van but it does get difficult sometimes juggling that and debt repayment and always hoping you're getting the balance right - good luck with upping the income.

Ok - I've decided to go for it - Pad £20,012 in 2012!

Not sure how successful I'll be, but with the actual repayments of just over £600 a month that leaves me 13,000 to pad - I padded £350 in two months, so that gives me about £4000, so will need to try to pad another £4000 over the year. There or there abouts anyway!

Sorry to ramble on but this seems to be a good place to record my thoughts and rambling!

    Cheers!

Seems I don't have quite as much as I thought having figured out where some of the extra balance belongs. Carrying on frugally though and spent nothing last night or today.

Today's PAD is £10.01 to MBNA and £3.00 to the new garden fund.
