Though I had to say next fortnight's pad will be a lot less..but I now have less than £500 to go till debt free. Anyone else think it's a good idea to lower the overdraft limit so am not tempted to go into it too much?

I would definitely lower the overdraft limit but I would keep a little "just in case". Once it is completely gone you can start to build up a credit balance so that you don't need an overdraft again!
