  • Quick question as my head is confuzzled.... I rang halicarp to close my account and they offered me 13 months at 0% balance transfer with a 3% charge.

My current outstanding cc is b@rclaycard totalling £1986.51. £1168.51 of this is at 0.561% monthly as it was a previous BT and the rest is at 1.941% monthly.

Should I BT to Halicarp? I can only send about £900 to it, but now banks have to pay off the highest first, that should mean in theory my remaining balance on BC is all at the lower rate?

I'm not planning on making many pads to it for the next few weeks as I need to pad to savings for covering shortfall in wages over next couple of months.

    Thank you! :)

I went for the chop :rotfl:I have had long hair most of my life and when I have gone shorter it has not been great. But I have been thinking about it for a while and just thought 'why not?'. So i have a short choppy bob with blonde highlights. The kids at school tomorrow will be a good test of its success :D

As for our song how about 'P-A-D-I-N'

    We are
    P, paying
    A, accumulating
    D, downsizing
    I, interesting
    N, number crunching

Sorry for my late night cheesieness. Must be the affect of the bleach fumes :o

P.S this is my first attempt at multi quoting so virtual gold star to me!

  • afternoon all! forgot to pad again yesterday so £10 from me today, thanks rsdiscos!

s-a-m sorry to hear about dh's redundancy, what horrible news, but like others have said £500 debt is nothing especially as you've done so well to clear as much as you have. keep strong!
