Yup, that's my recollection too Pinetree
OP I think it's fine for say a one off "emergency" (eg she's due to go into kennels etc when in season & you want to be extra safe) but I'm not sure that it's something that's recommended as a long term birth control option.Grocery Challenge £211/£455 (01/01-31/03)

indeed it can be used longterm and with little ill effects. Theres also a doggy pill that your female takes every day. Lots of owners use them in such situations especially with racing dogs such as greyhounds. Personally I only have cats which are alreeady snipped or will be done when they are old enough. I believe in the health benefits of the snips. You may well be suprised at home expensice 'suppressing' which is the medical term isMad Mum to 3 wonderful children, 2 foster kittens and 2 big fat cats that never made it to a new home!
