    Challenges
    Long term
Overall goal is to have enough money in the offset to be able to pay off the mortgage in 10 years (during 2024).
If we are on track for this at December 2014 we will be at point where we are offsetting everything above £200 000. The actual mortgage should be below £250 000 in May 2015.
Target for the MFiT challenge £36000 (which will mean offset accounts will have £66 081.49)

    Annual
    £12000 into offset this year.
    Budget below £ 8225.

    January
    1. Keep spending in budget.
    2. Track spending.
    3. Grocery challenge £100 and have a storecupboard January
    4. NDSs 0/20
    5. Continue 9 steps to financial freedom by doing inventory of bedroom
    6. No new clothes and make or refashion 1 item of clothing each week
    7. Making gifts and keeping gifts money- neutral where possible. This month try making washer necklaces.
    8. Craft stash ban- 20 days done in December.

Tightening my seatbelt as this won't be easy!

    Thanks The Young One
Started a freezer inventory for my storecupboard challenge. Have got over 50 batch cooked meals in there so I can go much longer than a month!! Might aim for 3:T

Happy new year to you too- sorry I didn't spot your last post!

A washer necklace is where you use a washer and pretty paper to make a pendant. There are several tutorials on the Internet. This will give you an idea of what I mean!

    Declaring 1st NSD today.

Went to check mortgage details online as it would be a useful check for my daily interest calculation. It is currently showing our mortgage as £0- oh thinks we should print it out and hold them to it! :D

I keep meaning to give it a try newgirly- even if it just helps pay some of my costs!
At the moment I generally make things as gifts and I made all my cards for about the last year and a half. I might try doing some sales online this year and possibly a craft fair in the run up to next Christmas.
