    Not just me then

Mine was showing as -£1850 for a few hours, was amazing :rotfl:
Mine showed as 0 but they've found it :(

And what's more, they've taken my mortgage payment but not knocked it off the balance yet - how rude .

Exactly the same for me today- really :( as it makes the figures look so much worse.
On the plus side my daily interest calculation was only a few pence out so I can have faith in my spreadsheet

Second no spend day of this year.
We went through the fridge today and got some of the leftovers into the freezer.
For lunch we baked the rest of the Christmas Brie, with a couple of part baked baguettes we had left over and some heated cranberry sauce. Felt like a real treat rather than leftovers.
Dinner was some fresh ravioli that had been in the freezer for a while- we kept it simple and just added some olive oil and Parmesan.

I'm feeling really wiped for no reason today. It is lovely to drop in here to see encouraging comments.
    Plans for today
    1. Get out for a walk
    2. Tidy up craft room
    3. Do some batch cooking

Hope everyone is well- I'll try and catch up with you all later!

Managed my walk and a bit of tidying. Then DH decided to do the batch cooking so I had a go at making a couple of washer pendants. They're not perfect but ok for a first attempt! They are drying overnight so hopefully I can finish them tomorrow.

First spend day of this year- some vacuum storage tubs on offer and groceries. I didn't venture into any of the other shops to check out the sales so I'm quite happy that we made well thought out and planned purchases.

Unfortunately not managed another NSD yet- partly because I've got out of the habit of running all my errands at once and tend to just pop out when I realise I need something. I'm not too worried though as NSDs are just a way to keep my spending down and since I'm still on track with the budget for this month it isn't a problem. I am also likely to have more NSDs for the rest of the month as I'll be back at work.

Food situation going really well and we've spent £4.88 so far- milk and bread only. Have used up some things from the freezer and storecupboard. We also allow some budget for eating out as our little treat to help us stay on track. We tend to go for lunch locally as we get a very filling meal at a reasonable price.

I've done some crafting and got round to updating my blog background etc. While it has stopped raining I've started walking every day again. Need to build back up gradually to increase the distance and speed.

    Have a good week everyone

I wish I had more time for diary reading today. I really enjoy reading through while looking at craft p*rn on tv!
Managed a NSD and ate a meal from the freezer- sausage casserole. Managed a little bit of flying as well. I need to get back to routines now we're back to work.
I did the next baby step in the Financial Independence plan I'm following. Still doing an inventory of everything in the bedroom. Just taking it 1 drawer/ shelf/ small area at a time. Hopefully I can do a bit every day this week. It will be good to get the first room done.
My new routines for tracking spending are going well- I've never found a workable system for this and I'm hoping this time I've cracked it!!
