Is there a dial on the RH stalk? If so this controls the intermittent speed (stalk up once for intermittent, twice for on, three times for extra fast).
The indicators are on the left - up for right, down for left. Ours work perfectly well
even when there is no one else on the road

If you push the stalk up once, then you get intermittent while stationary, and constant speed while moving0 -
