I've no idea, but suggest looking in the glove compartment for the manual - that will tell you. Probably will mention 'windscreen wipers' in the index.0

Press the button on the end of the right hand stalk for intermittent wipe, the frequency can be increased or decreaed with the increment wheel on the same stalk. Wiper speed 2 push the stalk up once, to cancel push down 1ce, for speed 3 push the stalk right the way up, and to cancel down twice. To cancel intermittent wipe push the same button on the end of the stalk use to switch it on. To use single wipe function just push the stalk down, pull the stalk towards you for screen wash. hope this helps, hard to explain via txt. Lol0

Haha now can you see why I'm so confused? So usually I press the button once and do nothing else and get intermittent so how do I just turn off intermittent?0 -

Im sure Ive been doing that but it never goes off!0 -
As long as they are on intermittent and you only press it once they should stop, if they're on speed 2 press down on the stalk. It is a very confusing set up.0

Remember you will no longer need to use indicators now you are in a BMW.0

I have just checked my car now. It seems that if u push the stalk up once it will also put them on intermittent, I have never used this I normally find it easier to just pres the button once for on and again to turn them off. I'm sure you will get used to it soon lol.0

There is potential for them to be automatic on a new BMW ,but I'm fairly sure they have a manual over ride too.0
