I agree with Prender - any admiration I once had for this band has long gone thanks to Pete Paedophile Townsend. It is disgusting to think that because he's rich and famous he got away with this vile behaviour.

For the record, this is not the correct forum for such discussions. However he did not "get away" with anything.

He admitted he had accessed a child !!!!!! website once and once only. He had previously reported this site many times to the authorities and to The Internet Watch Foundation. This was corroborated by the IWF and the authorities concerned. Also, his computers were taken away and forensically examined. They were found to be totally clean of anything remotely inappropriate.

Therefore, he was cautioned as he readily admitted accessing the site for his research, and as the law says, must sign the offenders register for 5 years. This five years expires next year.

I would suggest that anyone flinging around further accusations should tread carefully as to avoid possible legal action and so as not to land this very fine site in it. I'd suggest also that being in possession of the facts might help too

I really can't believe how people can be so stupid as to publicly name someone a paedophile when he's been cleared after a lengthy police investigation which involved the confiscation of all 14 (count them) PCs in his house and finding not one picture that constitued child pornography on any of them. There are libel laws in the UK and I really think people should engage brains before posting.

Anyone know what the prices for tickets are going to be im guessing around the £50 mark?

Im looking at going to the Sheffield gig as there is no Manchester Date!

The Knowsley Hall date is only about 15 or so miles from Manchester along the M62
