I have a property that has 2 meters, one in the kitchen and one 2 strides away in a toilet.
they told me I would not be charged the usual standing charge for one of the meters and would not be charged the used water standing charge twice.
every time I phone they insist I owe it then eventually contact another department who agrees with me and say I will be refunded.
there is no direct contact number for this other department and accounts keep sending me letters for £2 and do not issue the refund they owe me.
used water standing charge over a year add up.
does anyone know who I can contact, who to complain to, preferably email or letter as the phone calls although are free are a waste of time.

:cool: Wisdom doesn't necessarily come with age.
Sometimes age just shows up all by itself
In the end, it's not the years in your life
that count....it's the life in your years

You need to write to CROSS complaints and mark it as a complaint...it will then be sent through them to APORTS and dealt with that way. One meter just needs the charges removed (Simple to do and takes a second )
CROSS complaints have 10 working days to reply to you or they are breaking the guidelines and have to report that.
Do that first and see where you end up....There is a race of men that don't fit in; A race that can't stand still;
So they break the hearts of kith and kin, and roam the world at will.
