I'm not aware that you have a courier option when you're ordering. I've ordered quite a few things from Amazon with standard (free) delivery, and have had a variety of couriers including Hermes, Yodel and Parcelforce. When ordering from other online shops, I've never noticed if the courier is specified.
Or am I missing something?:oA bank is a place that will lend you money if you can prove you don't need it.0 -

Matalan use Yodel so will not order from them online!
Studio cards is another and yeah so is amazon so i just don't order from them. I may well pay a little extra more ordering else where but by the time you waited in for Yodel and phone they call centre the cost out ways the time and calls.
Its easy to find out which delivery company
Our deliveries are made by Yodel and take will take place between the hours of 7am and 9pm.

I've always found what courier company they use to be openly available. Although seldomly get the option of which courier -- so it's either a case of accept their courier or shop elsewhere I guess.I had a delivery by Hermes last week on behalf of MandM clothing.
They left it 2 feet from my front door in my open porch, I was in all day and they did not bother to knock.
I found it in a puddle where the rain had blown in at 3pm and it apparently had been left at 10am.
The wind blew it out of the porch into the garden? Surely if the wind was going to move it anywhere it would be in the direction it hit ie towards the door :huh:0 -

No, the parcel hadn't moved, it was still under cover of the porch roof. Unfortunately the rain itself blew in and soaked the parcel and an uneven slab tiling floor. Hence the parcel was sitting in a small puddle.0
