Praise for Royal Mail.

Options
We always hear of the dreaded backlog of mail at this time of year and xmas cards turning up in January but ive got nothing but praise for them at the moment.
I bought and paid for an item off ebay on Thursday morning at approx 11.30am from a seller over 100miles away and it was delivered by 10am on Friday morning:j Is this a one off or are they getting their act together lately?
Well done Royal Mail.

I had a similar experience buying something of ebay and it arriving the next working day - great effort by both RM & eBay seller.

I had a similar experience on two occassions in the Christmas rush. Also ordered a third item now two weeks ago which still hasn't arrived, and annoyingly the seller requires 15 working days before considering it lsot :(

If that's an ebay item just open a paypal dispute.

I've had great service from RM over christmas. Stuff has arrived quickly and as far as I know all my ebay customers received their items with no problem.

It was Amazon. No point filing a claim yet tbh, only 2 more working days (ish) left to wait so probably quicker than opening a case and waiting for them to respond. Plus they've offered very good communication thus far :)
  • I have had both the good and bad side from RM this last month. I ordered a football shirt for my husband from an ebay seller and despite him sending it on 6 December, it never arrived. On the 15th working day I notified the seller (who had been brilliant throughout) and he sent a replacement shirt which arrived the very next day. Clearly someone at RM decided they really, really needed an Athletic Bilbao shirt and pinched our original one, but at least the replacement arrived. :T
