Contract Phone Queries
Options
I have a contract phone (blackberry) with virgin media.
I have had contracts from them for almost 3 years.
Recently I washed said Blackberry (oops), and it's unusable.
Will I need to buy a new phone? My contract does not run out until next year so am I right in thinking they will not give me a new one? Should I phone up and ask just in case? What are my options?

Well it depends on when in 2012 the contract is up!! If it's in the next 2-3 months chances are they will upgrade you. If not you can pick up a BB 8520 for about £130 (£120 plus top up) from car phone warehouse and it will be sim free so you can pop your sim in.'Just because its on the internet don't believe it 100%'. No harm in asking but you will more than likely have to get a new blackberry phone.0

Might be worth checking that you're not covered on your house insurance - or some packaged bank accounts .0
