  • My OH received the same, about £65.00 per month, unfortunately his wasn't back dated but every little helps. :money:

I thought I was the only one who looked forward to February and March because of the no paying council tax :-)

I have finally received my cheque for marking and then have also been paid by BACs - very annoying to have to wait so long and then get it twice!

We are still PADing but I have no PAD today as I just round my bank balance to the nearest £5 so no spending means no PADing!

Am going to do my weekly survey session - yawn!

Sent two mobiles off to mazuma today so should get some money from them next week,
buggy board is selling on ebay for a decent price - finishes tomorrow
Twin pram isn't going very well - cost £1000 with all the bits and only selling for just over £5 - still a full day to go though.

Need to go and buy some brackets for some shelves I put up a while ago, ikea floating ones but put too much on them and they've come loose, going to put some brackets underneath to support them - kind of defeats the idea of floating shelves, but never mind!

    Morning all,

Buggy board sold yesterday on ebay for a good price - £30, but the twin pram didn't sell for our reserve
Apparently as my wife pointed out if you want to sell a twin pram, using the words 'twin' and 'pram' in the title would be an advantage!!! I called it a double buggy!!!

Never mind will try gumtree and tesco's notice board then maybe try ebay again later - only problem now is it is currently taking up space in the living room and I don't want to put it back in the garage until it sells.

I think I will get my ebay listings checked first!!!

  • Hi Twindad - have you tried listing it on Netmums? It's free and local, so worth a go.

I currently also have things taking up a lot of room in my living room too - waiting to sell, good luck with it!

Have got my money through from mazuma - £63 for two mobiles.
Also taken some ebay money out of paypal -£80 after fees etc, so again not bad going.

Struggling with exercise at the moment as I have a big case of can't be arsed!!!
This in turn is affecting any weight loss.

Hopefullt get back to it soon.

Think I might go in the loft/garage this weekend and look for more stuff to ebay

Hi yes I am finding that getting stuff together for eBay is making me feel calmer...not only do I hopefully get some decent cash for the stuff but also it makes me feel more in control and the house isn't so full of carp... Maybe one day that will also translated into less shouting at kids to tidy up and less housework? Any chance??!

    Haven't tacked the loft yet..hmm..maybe February's challenge!:rotfl:
