Had a VERY boring few hours combining washing, surveying and sorting out school stuff. Feel a bit more organised to go back to school now, even if i don't get much more done at least I have more of an idea what actually needs doing. Have also marked some homework from the start of September - woohoo!
We still have a scary amount of washing to do whilst putting some washing away, tidying the top floor, menu planning and going for a run.

Our Peppa pig bundle on ebay is on just under £40 so that is a huge bonus and it finishes tomorrow night so hopefully it might go up a little more

Just finished listing twin pram on eBay, feel like I've had a productive day.
Not going to be going for a run today - really must get started with the training soon.
Still to look at meal planning, need to look in cupboards and freezer first, I think we already have enough food for the month, apart from some fresh stuff to supplement.

  • It must be sooo much better with you both at it. My DH is aware and tries his best but not anywhere near as dedicated and on the ball as you twindad.
Me, DH and DD (17 months) clearing our debt for a better future. Then (LBM) = £21,636.43 (Oct 2009) Now = £12128.07 (44%)

Try to get credit card to £2k by April 2012 (was £3014.94)
PADing to clear CC 1/1/12 TOTAL: £32.00
Ditch 100 in January challenge: lost count but way over 100!!!/100
  • So do you both post on the same diary?

I would love OH to be so on board but I do admit to liking my activity on here as mine, and sometimes a place to moan about him ;):p

    He is great isn't he?
I think we just got into the mess together so need to get out of it together and are working collaboratively so I think last year I was much moe motivated as it was my £6000 Virgin card we are blasting, we now only have £700 to go on that and then we move on to DH's £7432 HSBC card so I want rid of the last bit of mine and he can't wait to move on to his so double motivation!!! We just need to clear it together to improve the future for our family. As soon as we are debt free we'll be straight over to the mortgage free wanabee board!
I moan about DH to his face anyway!

I have joined the £2012 in 2012 over on up your income and am looking at the little things I can do to boost things.

Made a £4.40 PAD so that takes the Virgin card under £700

Went for a very cold and rainy 2.5 mile run this morning and cleaned the shower when I got back. I then undid my hard work with a huge lunch - oops!

We have finally got the washing back up to date and put away. I have also re-sorted the boys drawers and made a pile of grown out of clothes. they have already been handed down so have had 3 years continuous wear and aren't really ebay-able so might look at these old clothes weighing things (or have I imagined that?)

I got a referral to join Pinecone but they decided they didn't want me - boohoo!

I have sold a tiny bit of crap on ebay for £1.14 and DH's peppa pig auction has 30mins left and is currently on £56.45 - yay!

We are both back to school tomorrow but I have an INSET day and finish at 1.30pm so hoping to get home and go for a run before weightwatchers and hopefully sort out DD's drawers. I feel really disorganised with work so am just faffing and trying to get my brain back in gear now. I have a feeling I left my classroom looking like a bomb had hit it so not looking forward to facing my mess tomorrow!

  • Lol - at least it is not just me then - I keep getting "not connected to internet" even though I am

I think I should maybe set a target of a particular card to work towards, at the moment I am still a bit like a kid in a sweet shop with wanting to pay bits off all of them at the same time :o
    Just keep swimming!
