I have used gmail since it first came out, I have over 4.5gb of emails.Only recently have I started using thunderbird, but only to download the emails so I have a local backup, I do not actually use it to read the mail.
I have all my other gmail accounts (15+) forwarding to my main account and can send from them also, from anywhere in the world.
Some say that there are adverts using gmail, I cannot ever remember any - must have a visual block on them or something.

Good thing about using Gmail is also you can use the Documents service too, very handy - you can store PDF's on it too.My Mind wanders, if found please return.0
