Yep, wife and pals go shopping, park in Morrisons, bu**er off and come back an hour late. They find a ticket on the car, come home all very upset and apologetic and all dipping into wallets to share the pain. That was yesterday, today I googled and found this great forum, read quite a few posts and with a smile on my face told my wife "ignore, ignore and ignore again". I await with great interest the bucketloads of threats, which my wife will get and I will immediately consficate and file under :rotfl:(she may be more prone to assault and battery than myself). The actual car parking charges, use of a parking meter, non-redeeming of said charges in aforementioned store is enough to make a sane man weep but that's for another day and another place:eek:
Anyway thanks to the forum I've learnt a lot today, and I'll spread the word.

Good that you are ignoring it, the damages suffered by Morrisons are zero, other than the lost of repeat customers.
Just send a lovely letter to the manager that thanks to their contractor harassing you, you have decided to shop at *name local rival* instead and will tell your friends, family & work colleagues to do the same0 -
Good on you
just don't weaken when they start their threatograms, come back here if your resolve weakens at all.
And happy new year to you and the missus .Excel Parking, MET Parking, Combined Parking Solutions, VP Parking Solutions, ANPR PC Ltd, & Roxburghe Debt Collectors. What do they all have in common?
They are all or have been suspended from accessing the DVLA database for gross misconduct!
Do you really need to ask what kind of people run parking companies?0 -
I am glad that you can see through this nasty scam and please spread the word. This forum is really kicking the scammers in the profits. Just be prepared for threatmail mentioning courts, bailiffs, CCJs, hell and damnation. It is all part of the scam.Still waiting for Parking Eye to send the court summons! Make my day!0

I had CP Plus trying to extort money from me in the past.
Ignore them and their threats. They are nothing more than a bunch of leaches who have found a 'legal' way to con motorists.
Definitely send the Morrisons manager a letter as suggested above. I'd also include a few receipts from your visits to his local competition to show him how much business these crooks are costing him.0 -

A waste of time...imo.Hi, we’ve had to remove your signature. If you’re not sure why then you're as thick and stupid as the moderators on here - MSE ForumTeam0 -
I had a look in our local Morrisons. The sign has the usual 'you park, you agree to pay' rubbish, but doesn't say how much you agree to pay. Just another reason to ignore them.0

Hi Jocmac, If you take a look at the "PPC parking threats and letters" thread at the top of the first page, scroll down to CP Plus and you can see the latest letters (in order) .These will give you a good idea of what to expect in the post.Do not fold. They are bullying you to pay up.Oh yes,one last thing,DO NOT under any circumstances reply to their letters. At all.Hope this helps.Carpark King.0

Thanks for the replies, no further correspondence, I await the coming avalanche of threats with hardly any interest at all. I will take your advice and reply to none (I'm not very good at replying when I should, so this will be pretty easy).0
