Creme De La Creme

Quick Straw Poll - If you were willing to pay up to £50 per month, which Broadband provider would you recommend?

My main concern would be speed as using it for Home Business.

I really look forward to hearing everyone's opinion.:j

Is Virgin Media available for the address? Or FTTC (e.g. BT Infinity)?

What does http://www.samknows.com/broadband/broadband_checker offer up as options?

Do you currently have broadband? If yes, what are your present stats?

I know it's lots of questions, but without this info then any recommendation may be misleading. :)

Why would you want to pay £50 a month?
What are your LLU options from samknows?
Since broadband is exchange-specific, it's not possible to give general recommendations.
No free lunch, and no free laptop ;)
  • Thanks Guys. Here are my options according to that site:

he following services are available in your location:
    • BT Wholesale ADSL
    • BT Wholesale ADSL Max
    • BT Wholesale WBC (21CN)
    • AOL LLU
    • Bulldog LLU
    • TalkTalk (CPW) LLU
    • Sky Broadband / Easynet LLU
    • Tiscali LLU
    • Tiscali TV (via Tiscali LLU)
Not got a clue about my current stats. Only know it takes an age for anything to load up! I was with Tesco.net but switched to Sky. I've found Sky to make Tesco look like Ward Speed 9!

Really? I didn't think there was any connection at all, except for BE using O2's infrastructure.

    Who owns Be?

In June 2006, Be became a part of the O2 group. O2 comprises mobile network operators in the UK and Ireland, along with integrated fixed/mobile businesses in Germany and the Czech Republic (Cesky Telecom). O2 is a Telef!nica company with more than 35 million customers across Europe.
