Thank you Jemma for a fab part 2
The weight-loss challenge sounds excellent! Before Christmas I was going to zumba once a week that kind of lapsed in December though. My daughter received Lets Dance 3 for the Wii for Christmas and it actually has some of the routines on there (plus i realise that the hula hooping on the wii is excellent for tummy's) so thats £4 a week ive saved :rotfl: I've also been paying for unlimited swimming at our local pool for over a year and have to admit to only going with the children and not actually going for myselfwhen I'm sure 1/2 an hour every other day would work for me (new years resolutions #1 & 2)
So if you could put me down for 20lbs that would be great. I'm not sure really how much I want to lose, im a size 14 and would love to be a 10 again, so I think that's about right?
I did go sales shopping today - only to get a few specific things, which I found and spent about £50 in all, all good buys in bigger sizes for my two so they should last.
I also bought a new bed for ds, i've been waiting for it to go in the sale, and lo and behold it did so snapped that up at 1/2 price, and paid with nectar points too so it didnt actually cost me a bean
We were going to get a chinese takeaway tonight but found lots of very similar things in the freezer left over from Christmas so thats a saving and it can go towards the dreaded barclaycard. So a payment of £51.70 for me.
So.. #064 £330.79/£13,210.36
Happy New Year all, lets make it amazing!! :jDF by Christmas 2014 #116 | £435 / £2931.070 -

Not bad at all, DorsetGirl. I've got another £72 to pay in Jan (plus about £12 interest, boo) and I'd of hit my target of £1850. Looking good at the moment. I may even smash it to pieces and get it even lower - ahem, emphasis on might :rotfl:
How about yours?DF by Christmas 2014 #116 | £435 / £2931.070 -

Well, I registered for this board ages ago, but as I've been very headin the sand about my debts I just kept away to avoid feeling bad.....lemonpopsicle wrote: »I thought that my figure paid off looked a bit untidy so I've made an extra little payment to cc to tidy it up! I have taken to sending the odd amounts in the bank over to my savings account :rotfl:2012MyYearToClear wrote: »Sorry think I originally posted to the wrong page - new to the site just registered so that I can join with everyone else in getting debt free in 2012. I'm still jiggling around with figures to cover the tax bill without having to put more on credit but I'm not sure I'm doing the right thing - I had thought to reduce my Credit Card payments down to the minimum so that we can pay the tax man in cash (so to say) but I'm not sure if I'm just making life harder for myself because it will have impacted on the amount I've paid off - dh just wants to put it on our 0% card but I'm wondering if 'just' doing that is making him think that using the cards is acceptable againWhat do you guys think?
