I've managed day one of no chocolate too - I had a fun size Mars bar sat staring at me at work but I managed to resist and felt very pleased with myself!!0

I managed bread + lucozade at the shop, I almost didn't as the vienetta was calling my name at £1.65 but I repeated my mantra and managed to just get what I went there for
although £2.98 lighter, the rest of the £5 has gone into my sealed pots.
Has anyone else noticed that their life seems a lot more organised now that they're dealing with their debt? I seem to have places for everything all of a sudden and my cupboards seem a lot more streamlined. I'm also noticing it at work, I'm keeping more lists and giving myself small tasks to complete and I know what my next goal is.Diary: Getting back on track for 2013 and beyondDEBT FREE 13-10-13 :dance::dance::dance::dance:

Morning all,
Another £100 paid off my holiday today, so the payments are going well. BUT DS came home yesterday with 2 trip letters - one for £16 & one for £45. The £45 is optional, but its an overnight camping trip in the may half term so it will save me on childcare costs if her goes. Both trips are unbudgeted so my careful planning is wrecked yet again - its only 2nd of the month.
Feeling really fed up with it all, I just cannot seem to break even in any month

Morning all! I think there must be a rule somewhere that each one of us must have at least one bad day this week! I have managed to lock myself out of the house this morning:wall:. Which is particularly annoying cos my OH is here and was supposed to be spending the afternoon chilling at my place until I finish work :wall::wall::wall:. So now it looks like he might have to drive home to middlesbrough this morning with his bro and I'll drive up to see him tonight.
As for debt-busting however, I still have £20 of my weekly budget left so if I can manage to not spend that today it shall be going straight to the overdraft :j:j:j.:A If saving money is wrong, I don't want to be right. William Shatner

Thought Id throw in my pooey day for the week- Open my payslip to find work are paying me....£0 :eek:
They owe me about £1000 now having messed up 2 months of pay- didn't add my holiday onto end of maternity and now because I had a transfer that hasn't gone through properly either! Hopefully it will be sorted in the next week. If we can live without it- will be tight but possible, I may throw it at debt when I get it. I need to declare a new total and figure as me and oh have completely combined our finances and paying off debt together. D£20 a day April 2014 £834.87/£600 :j

Sorry to hear you're locked out Antonia
and sorry to hear about the pay Natterjack, March really is sucking isn't it
I woke up at 6am to another nosebleed, no idea whywasn't as bad as the one yesterday afternoon so maybe I just knocked it a little, but definitely not a pleasant way to start the day. AF order arrives today, so aiming for my first NSD in March *fingers crossed*
