I dont know what to do!!! Had the benefits man round as ive had my letter through for my ESA (HRM, LRC) and he thinks I have a good case for MRC BUT, there is no guarantee that should I appeal, I would keep what ive got :eek: He said he cant remember anyone having their award lowered through appeal, but that still doesnt mean that it cant be done as they do look at the entire application again So do I stick with what i've been awarded or do I try for the mid rate care and accept there is a slim chance of ending up with no care award at all?

Latest update: BC statement came in - £17.53 interest so balance this morning was at £996.79 (I really resent paying all this interest! That is one lesson I have learned!)
Anyway, got paid today and it seems I got all the hours I claimed for ie December (which hadn't been paid) and January. So, I made a payment of £300 and balance is now at £696.79. My car is at the garage today so it may be all I can pay this month!

#135 = £1089.40 / 1786.19 (60.99%)

I thought it'd be nice to have our very own Roll of Honour list so I've created one on post #5 which the lovely Pedro helped me to design...above is a sneak preview though.
