Steph that's such a breakthrough point for you :) well done xx

I have one word to say about a couple of people last night, actually it's an action you can all do *sniggers*. With palm facing away from you and fingers half together, flex your pinky in a wiggly way, give a wince and the say "syndrome"... you'll get it when you do the action. Some people need to learn that making inappropriate jokes about my OH when he's not there, or ignoring me because you've previously treated my OH like crud is just not acceptable :)

I was DWF though, I stayed sober for the evening so didn't spend a penny and took a little tub of lemoncurd as a present :) which was very much enjoyed.

Thanks Kerri xxx Just a case of facing up to reality and working out that my needs (of being debt free) come before a birthday present her DH should be doing for her and a holiday to meet the BF's best friend, would be cheaper to buy tickets for him to come to us... might suggest this and BF can pay :rotfl: (BF's best friend is terrible with money, worse than me!)

Sound like those people aren't nice people to hang around with... and probably don't deserve your lemon curd :A xxx

  • Kerri, Lemon curd is my absolute favourite. I would have welcomed you with open arms if you had brought some for me. Sorry to hear that you didn't have a great night. Some people are just not worth it. At least you don't have a hangover today.;) Have a great day everyone.

Just done a strict budget based on 2011 for this year. I should be in debt to the bank at £757.65 on my loan by December 2012 and £800 to my mum and dad. If that's not an incentive I don't know what is!! xxx

I tried to post my laptop on ebay yesterday and I'm not paypal verified so I can't take advantage of the free listings weekend

Although, I mentioned this to my friend and he bought it from me instead (for a discount, but I don't have to go through the hassle of packaging and posting it) :j

I guess I'll have to wait for the next free-listing weekend to post my other stuff...

They are all happily together and make me feel like there must be something wrong with me! There isn't I promise you! I am just a young woman who won't settle for 2nd best, who doesn't just go out with random people just so I'm not on my own, I don't take any carp from anyone and I work darn hard at my job. My family just think I've got 3 heads and come from the planet zod as for them, it's not "normal" to be my age and still single. AARGGGHHHHH!!!! I'm just so sick of being treated as though I'm a joke, as though I am in some way beneath them and some sort of failure because I haven't met that guy yet.

I really feel you Jemma *hugs*
I feel like such a failure cos I haven't managed to find anyone yet and my whole family are pressuring me to get married. I'd love to be married too but you need another person for that to happen!! It doesn't help that my younger sister has been married for 4 years!

Another £30 paid today so new total:

    #298 £378/£2297.52

I have a question. Paying things earlier has reduced the interest owed by a lot on somethings, do I edit my total owed amount each time I save interest, or count the interest saved as paid off?

I'd personally count it as paid off cos it would've still been there but for you making all those overpayments/early payments. When I paid my loan off last week I saved over £400 in interest so I've just added it to my paid off total. It's entirely up to you though xxx

Wouldn't it get really confusing though? You haven't been charged the interest on what you have paid? So while you are saving yourself money on interest, and your paid off total doesn't go up, your debt is still reducing?
