Tracked so far (though not confirmed) are:
Heart games (Qu1dc0): £15 (for £10 deposit, and if you use me as your friend when you register (same username - helenpie), we each get another £10 once you've spent £10, and this doesn't have to be played - can withdraw straight away :T)
Mecca bingo (Qu1dc0): £15 for £15 deposit and if you play the £15 on bingo games, you get another £15 to spend on anything. I did this on a certain game based on a popluar tv show...min stake of 50p but the 'banker' made an offer of more than that on the first round almost every time. Took back £14.10
Tombola (TCB): £20.20 for £10 deposit. Best odds of winning something (i.e. fewest players :p) was "Bandit", i found.

Will update as and when others track.

In total I have £147 of winnings (profit after deposits), and £368 if all cash back comes through. :j

So do you guys all think this is worth it? I'm a bit slow on the uptake but it's looking good for the money you get back!! The one time I tried it, I was winning all the way til I had to pay some of my own money in then I lost every game!

In a bit of a muddle after making so many transactions for bingo/cash back this weekend :o:o:o

Of what I do know I can do a bit of an update:

    #77 £1,805.06/£16,660.26 10.83%

That is not as good as expecting as the car bill came in at £309.56 on Friday, but I only had £153.09 in my car pot :( Also have yet to pay this month's credit card interest (statement is late so no idea what that will be ). However, should still look healthier by the end of the month as OH's overdraft should officially be clear :j:j However, that does assume that his mobile bill is where it should be at about £35. Last 2 months have been £210 and £165 :eek::mad::mad: Says he's been phoning his family in Ireland. Why he can't do that on his parent's landline, where it's a million times cheaper, I have no idea . Will know later when I get out to check his balance. ;)

On the diet front, no change since last update - I was down 2 more then had an anniversary meal (read: binge) with OH at the weekend :o and put it back on again :(

You guys have been talking a lot :rotfl::rotfl: I've skim read to catch up but hope I've not missed too much and everyone is ok.

Off to update my signature :)

really tempted with this as its then guaranteed no lose, did heart give you any bonus? I did look at it but cant remember.

Has anyones gal@ tracked yet as mine isnt even showing :(

  • Morning all! I've not been on much recently for obvious reasons - for those who've asked, my friend's still in intensive care but is breathing for himself and controlling his temperature. They're still not sure what it is, but are leaning towards some kind of encephalitis, which causes swelling of parts of the brain. MRI scan today, fingers crossed.

Minor win on the DFW front - my Kindle screen broke recently in my bag while at hospital, even though it had the leather cover. The screen looked cracked inside even though there didn't appear to be damage to the front, and wouldn't clear on a hard reset. I assumed Amazon were going to be a pain, and had written off £80 for a new one.

Well, I logged on this morning and within a few minutes (they call you when you click a button on the website, so no premium rate calls to swallow!), a replacement was on its way to arrive Wednesday. Fantastic customer service from Amazon, I'm properly pleased :D All those who were umming and ahhing about getting a Kindle, I feel it is now my duty to encourage you to say YES! As long as it doesn't affect your DFD too much... ;)

Oh, and Sainsburys won't stop sending me vouchers. They're redeveloping the shop across the road, which I hardly ever hear, but they're convinced it's a major inconvenience for me. Another £5 this morning :D

oooo I suppose I had better actually post something about debt busting as my last umpteen posts have been bingo, chicken pox, selling used undies and free vouchers :rotfl:

had a look on the snowball calculator after all my payments and my debt free date is now sitting at March 2013  thats a drop of about 4 - 5 months if I remember right

Oh and DH's joint account is now showing £80 in credit :D its amazing how the OD missing from the end of the amount can make me so happy :D:D:D

Hmmm, I'm sure there's something odd about it, too. I was just fortunate to win big on the couple of occasions that I did. I think some of the sign-up bonuses are a bit of a con as you have to bet at least 2x that amount in most cases so I started opting out. The Mecca one was good though as the bonus came after you'd spent your own money,

I think it's worth it so long as the cash back at least covers your initial deposit. I make sure to read reviews and tracking statistics, too. There was one that looked too good to be true (something like £50 for £20 played) but all reviews said no cash back.....

Nothing for Gala yet, but it's only been a couple of days. I will give it a week and then raise a query....

I think the only bonus from Heart was the £10 each for refer a friend, which you didn't have to gamble so the best you can get really :D. My username is the same there (helenpie) so if you do go, I would be very appreciative of the mention!!!

I don't get any sick pay at all - 3 months is a lot. Hope you get better soon :)
