I was googling lots of Win wedding items competitions after getting engaged and actually won my fiance a bespoke Moss Bros suit for our wedding in 2013 worth £550. This was my best win for the year and means a lot as it is something towards our big day. It also gave me the comping bug and I went on the find this site!

Hoping to win more wedding things/money in 2012 :):)

I absolutely loved our VIP tickets to Bon Jovi! We got free food, free drink and were right at the front of the stage. We also met a lovely couple at the meal who we chatted to (and DH helped them win some Bon Jovi memorabilia during the quiz) and just had a smashing time overall. :D

DH & I don't get out very often without the kids and this was such a nice treat!!
    Hmmmm, need new siggie
  • I have been comping since April 2011 and am totally hooked.

My best win was a holiday to LA which is booked for spring:)

My most disappointing win was a £175 Coast dress because they only gave me 48 hours to respond and the message was hidden in 'other' on Facebook so I missed it:(

    So hard to Choose!

But I think my favourite win has to be the trip we took to Nairn in Scotland in May a lovely very posh but very down to earth hotel (Boath House Hotel)

we stayed for 2 nights and each night got to eat a 7 course dinner in the michelin starred restuarant ( was more like a living room only 8 bedrooms in the hotel!) as well as breakfast each day - very exclusive ( not to mention to die for amazingly good food)

not something we could have ever afforded but my goodness it was such a brilliant experience - we saw some lovely countryside and were treated like royalty even though they knew we were competition winners - a family of 4 from switzerland that stayed for the same time as us spent £4000 for the same experience we had! not to mention some lovely 'us' time for me and the hubby

also 'won' a trip to New York but then found out we would have to pay £600 for the taxes which we couldn't afford so the company very graciously changed it to a weekend in Barcelona which we go on at the end of the month

but then just before Xmas a lovely letter from Pick me Up to say I had won £750 - this will pay for me, hubby and the kids to go see my Dad who lives in Spain - they haven't seen him for 4 years as we couldn't afford the flights but now we can!

and lastly not really a win for me but when M&S launched their #xmaswhislist on twitter I tweeted that I would just like something to give away in the xmas charity raffle at work ( in aid of a local hospice) never expected them to answer but they did and they gave me 2 x £100 M&S giftcards to use as prizes - we ended up raising £350 for the local hospice which they were very grateful for

So like I said hard to choose! but one thing is for sure comping may be a bit of fun but it really does change people's lives so a massive thanks to all that post comps!
    Back after a long break!

Looking to get back in the winning way :j

Massive thanks to all who post comps!
