I haven't won anything of great value but I am very pleased with the bits and bobs I've received this year.
I have 2 favorites, family passes to both Drayton manor and Gullivers World. These are the sort of things we love to do as a family but we just can't afford it very often. My daughters were made up!Win £2012 in 2012 £149/£2012

I've not won so much this year as I've been off and on with comping but I think the night at the opera was the best. We had a private box right over the stage (felt like Statler and Waldorf), £100 steakhouse voucher and two upgraded rooms in a posh hotel right opposite Fortnum and Mason. We were able to take auntie and uncle who have been really good to us so it was nice to be able to treat them.
Oh, for star-spotting the premiere of Tinker,Tailor,Soldier, Spy was great, we got to trot down the red carpet with all the stars. I also won a mystery prize with Lovefilm as part of the prize which turned out to be a Playstation 3. I donated this to the childrens ward at the local hospital.ITV Winners Club #87 :eek:0 -
My best win has prob been the Nintendo DSI i won on a radio station. It did my sons xmas, or the dolls house i won 3 days before xmas. My kids were delighted!!!!
Thank you comping fairy2021 Please Be A Better Year0 -
Definitely an iPad 2. It's already dearly beloved. Would never buy one for myself (or anyone else, hehe) and after a year of trying, my wish finally came true a couple of weeks ago. Brilliant timing! Also won a Kenwood Mixer in November which has been used by all and sundry in my family already. I would love to win a holiday somewhere but here's hoping to 2012. All in all, I've had a pretty good year comping. I had a major dry spell of about 5 months not winning a thing (literally) in the mid-part of the year but the start and end to 2011 have been great.
Happy New Year everyone and BIG thanks to all competition posters.0 -
What a lovely thread...
After comping fairly consistantly for the last 5 years, this year I havent been able to spend as much time doing it as I am now self employed with a rapidly growing business which is taking up more and more time. However I comped a lot in January and February when my business was quieter and won a laptop, a gourmet foodie long weekend break in Northumbria, a weekend in Devon, Harveys Bristol Cream a years supply of toffees, theatre tickets and a childrens game all in 6 weeks. My new years resolution is to comp more as I absolutely love it and this website!
Thank you to all take the time to post and make this thread what it is.
Happy New Year Everyone, hoping 2012 is lucky for us all.Comping addict since 2007 - still waiting for 'the big one' :j0 -
Hi
My favourite win was a £50 Arcadia voucher from Capital Radio. Fab. Its also the only one (only started entering around Sep and won this end of Oct). I created a nice file for the letter I received with the hope of adding lots more soon, but luck has gone right out of the window. Luck is a huge part in comp's and if its not in, tough.
On similar note, those who have won.. do you find more successes from Regulars? Dailies? Weeklies? Facebook?
Happy New Year to you all.

I haven't taken it yet, but I think my favourite win of the year is a helicopter flying lesson. It's the sort of thing that sounds totally awesome but is quite expensive so I would never, ever get to do normally! Most useful thing has been a netbook, since ours packed in it a few months before. And any cash of course! (not massive quantities, but it all adds up)top 2013 wins: iPad, £50 dental care, £50 sportswear, £50 Nectar GC, £300 B&Q GC; jewellery, Bumbo, 12xPringles, 2xDiesel EDT, £25 Morrisons, £50 Loch Fyne
would like to win a holiday, please!!

I have huge gaps in comping this year but the best thing I won was without doubt the Sony Blu ray player followed by the Asos dresses which I gave to my daughter.
Happy New Year everyone and good luck with comping 2012The forest would be very silent if no birds sang except for the birds that sang the best0 -

Ours has to be a 5 night holiday to the Maldives. We took this in June (a bit late for our honeymoon in October 2010 when we also went to the Maldives - thought that would be a once in a lifetime trip so feel really lucky!). We decided to add on 5 nights in Sri Lanka which we paid for but was alot cheaper than 5 extra nights in the Maldives.
I have returned to comping in December having been off work with sickness and dizziness in pregnancy and have won a few great prizes. Look forward to spending my maternity leave winning some nice prizes especially now we won't be able to afford much.
Thanks for everyones posts and good luck for 2012!:beer:Apr - Makitia DAB Radio
