Honeymoon ideas for July/August 2012?

Ok, we have a whole month off from mid-July to mid-August for our HM!!!! :) But where to go???? We fancy a bit of activity/culture and maybe a nice island/beach too. We don't like resort-based or package hols and will be booking it all ourselves. We love SE Asia but the monsoon may be a problem, would it? Doesn't it move…
