. I just tried and had to leave the St Ives scrub (£3) at the till, and swallowed hard when the chocolate (Cadburys 9pck) went thru for £1.79. No bargains for me today, but used some money off coupons so all was not lost
.
Glad it worked for the OP though.
I had two tubes of scrub for 70 odd pence on Tuesday (sel said 85p rollback from £3.xx or something) but the sel had gone back up to £3 last night, so the offer must have finished or Asda must be reading these posts again.0 -
Could be a local thing but ASDA Long Eaton had 8 * 275ml bottles of Tuborg for £1 last night.0

Sorry about that, I feel guilty now! Still, I guess £1.79 for 9 bars of Dairy Milk is still not bad value.By replying to this post you are agreeing to my Terms and Conditions which state that I am correct0 -
Thess might just be Asda Stores in the Essex area as they came up on the receipt as 'Local Crisps' but my local branch (Basildon) had a load of packs of Fairfields Farm crisps - very similar to Kettle Chips - reduced to 29p (from £1.29) - Best Before date is 22 May; Lightly sea salted, Tai Sweet Chilly and Salt and Cider Vinegar. I picked up three bags and when they were run through the till at the reduced price, up came a further discount - apparently there was a 3 packs for £2 offer, so off came £1.87, effectively meaning I was paid to take them away!
Nice crisps though and I might actually be tempted to pay full price if I see them again!
(if anyone wants to find them in the Basildon branch, they are down towards the bakery end, in the aisle with the reductions cage usually stands.)
Au Res.,

I thought Long Eaton was outside Nottingham?
Anyway the Tuborg is the EU brewed swill that Carlsberg are flooding the market with0 -

Watch out Boney - don't drink too much, or you might get Tuborg-ulosis!
EDIT: And the MDR variant is a not nice - be warned.0 -
...I noticed in Asda Bedminster (Bristol) on Saturday that many of the large packs of prepared fruit salad and melon (up to about 800g) are £1, rather than the usual £3 (ish).Best wins: Luxury weekend in Russia, family holiday to France, catered BBQ for 20, Selfridges shopping spree, jolly to Majorca, £1,000 See Tickets vouchers, £500 John Lewis vouchers, five-star weekend in Provence!
