Do I have a claim?

Hi thanks for reading basically I got a iPhone 4 contract with orange about 5/6 months ago when I got it I asked to buy a case and paid extra £15 for a gear 4 bumper case recommended to me.
Yesterday while out my phone fell out the case and smashed so I went back but shop doesn't want to know, the case has come apart at the seams looks manafacturing fault , I had to pay apple £120 to fix / replace my phone and was wondering if I could claim this back via orange or trading standards as the case has clearly come apart and that's reason my phone broke?

IMO, the best you can hope for would be a replacement case, although after 5-6 months usage of an accessory, it could be seen as fair wear and tear.
With regard to consequential loss for your phone, I would say you've got absolutely no chance.

It would depend on the type of case. If it's like a purse wouldn't you have noticed the case was faulty before?

It was a case that went round the phone and has plastic back
