Chipped mugs

Does anyone have any ideas of ways to use chipped mugs apart from pen pots and vases? I'm having a sort out and have decided not to drink from the chipped cups and mugs anymore. But some of them are really pretty and it seems a waste to just bin them......

Save them until the next time you're having a fight with Mr bizzylizzy and throw them at him to save smashing the good china.Liverpool is one of the wonders of Britain,

I like the idea of adding candles and popping in the garden, you could also use as alternate pots for growing herbs or small flowers. There are cup and saucer planters out there, not much different and cost £10+!
I was also going to suggest the mosaic but seem's everyone has that idea.Credit Card: £796 Left/£900 October 2011 :eek:Store Card: £100 October 2011

Keep a couple back for soak paintbrushes in if you absolutely must . . . . . . but to be honest, pretty or not, I'd bin them - clear the clutter!

I do small flower arrangements in mine - pretty on a window ledge or coffee table with the chips cunningly concealed.I believe that friends are quiet angels

Thanks for all your suggestions, I really don't want to smash them as they only have one chip in the rim and, as I said, are pretty apart from that. I like the candle and plant pot holder ideas though.0
