    Morning all!
1 AFD to add for me please Shaggy so up to a wopping 3/10.

Well done to Mackeroo and Maman last week, love the positive stuff about finding your stop buttons for socialising - you've both come a long way!

    Have a good Tuesday everyone.

    Thanks, it feels good!:D

Board is quiet at the moment but still got people keeping up with their AFness. RL is busy I guess.

9AFDS for me please Shaggy and hoping to add to it tonight!

    13 Af please Shaggy

Yesterday our 14 and a half year old choc lab got put to sleep :(so feeling very fragile at the moment but managing to resist reaching for the wine bottle and eating choc instead! Coming home to empty house tonight was so difficult, but trying to keep busy to keep my mind off our loss.

Hi Maman, hope you've had a good evening.

I'm the opposite of busy at the moment, I finally left the house today for the first time since last Wednesday. I made it all of 10 minutes up the road and back! It turns out there's a whole autumn thing going on out there. I've only had a sore throat and cold but OH is claiming I have man flu (I'm a woman!). It didn't stop me drinking some wine each evening, until last night anyway. I'm job hunting at the moment so at least I don't have to worry about work piling up while I've been ill.

I've had another AFD today, so I'm up to 4/10 please Shaggy. I guess I need quite a few in a row if I'm not going to run out of October before I hit my target. Plus I need to be kind to myself and get lots of rest.

Mackeroo, sending big hugs your way at the moment, I was so sorry to read your news. Chocolate sounds like a good plan.

    Ok, here's a joke ...

A drunk walks into a bar. "Ouch!" he says.

    Sleep well everyone.

So sorry to hear your sad news mackeroo, and very well done for not seeking the customary solace.

Another night done for me so that's 10 AFDs please Shaggy.

Sorry to hear you've been poorly wbf. There is a strange cold going around at the moment that seems to take an age to get over properly. Good luck with the job hunting and take care of yourself.

    EDIT I HAVE UPDATED #3649
What do we do when we fall? We get up, dust ourselves off and start walking in the right direction again. Perhaps when we fall, it is easy to forget there are people along the way who help us stand and walk with us as we get back on track.

Is it it time for a pup? Or is it too early to think of that yet?
