Sending you big hugs MissP!!! Like the others have said, it's just a blip. And you are well aware of what happened and how you felt afterwards. At least you didn't say you were ill because of "something you ate". And 3 cheers for MrP and DaddyP, sounds like you have a couple of supportive heros!
Bearacus - Good luck with Race for Life. I did the 10k a couple of years ago, absolutely loved it!
I reminded MrR that due to an income drop from May we will now have to start watching every penny. He said he knew, that the wine would have to stop, and that would save us £300 per month . At least he is aware how much he is spending.

Hi everyone.
Really pleased I stumbled across this thread. Can I join you please?
My alcohol intake isn't helping my purse, my diet or my self esteem!
As there are only 8 days left in April, can I go for 6 AFD please.
ThanksDebt Free Date: November 20170 -
Good morning all
Shaggy - I've lost countbut am guessing I'm probably up to about 14 or so so will go with that.
Have a few days off work now which is lovely. My best friend is coming for coffee so am looking forward to that.
Hope everyone has good Mondays

I read this and then went to post but work got in the way, and now having read it again my response is still
:eek::eek: blimey, crikey, flipping heck, OMG, what the ....
Whilst I am no angel and I can certainly pack away the booze (something I have take a ball and chain to as it was bad behaviour) I cannot recall a time ever when I spent this amount on booze. OK so I was queen of the booze cruise. I really hope he has the will power to go through with this fiscally enforced consumption reduction and see the benefits of it - if he manages that then he deserves a :T:j standing ovation.
Hoping you both manage this change - wow very best of British to you both!Start info Dec11

I can see why you should be so shocked as there are loads of people who would welcome £300 as their food budget for the month for a whole family. I think MrR has estimated 2 x £5 bottles a day for 30 days each month. That's a huge amount of money to spend on booze but if he was drinking outside the home it would probably cost even more. What I'm saying is that lots of us are [STRIKE]wasting[/STRIKE] spending money on booze and even paying through the nose for it if we frequent bars and restaurants.
I know I should be motivated by health issues but I do find it easier to look at my drinking in money (or calorie) terms. I was spending what MrR spends albeit it was between two of us. Many posters advocate putting the money one side towards AF treats.
Certainly food for thought. Thank you MrsR.0 -

Can I join?? I think small goals might help me start. Weekend was a boozy affair with a weekend away in a boutique hotel for a friends birthday. However, despite other half and myself being party boys we managed to keep a lid on it and not end up "minging" and hungover for this mornings check out!
