Still not AF here
and don't think I will be today either it is DS 18th birthday. I do have to go back to work tomorrow though so I intend to only have a couple of glasses tonight with a meal.
So from tomorrow when I get back to real life...ie work  I am going to join in with the SNC if that's OK bearacus?
Right off to do some fleabaying as it's free listing and I need to get back onto the debtbusting as well as the AFness!
Have a fab Sunday everyone0 -
Maman- thanks for that advice. You are right actually. For example, last night wasnt AF, but i only had 1 bottle of beer, whereas not so long back i would have had at least 3 or 4. And the other night when i bought some wine, i only had 2 glasses from the bottle instead of the whole bottle.
I guess its all progress isnt it.
Well done Cleggie...it's all steps in the right direction :T0 -
Morning all!

Hi Everyone
10 Af please Shaggy
I also agree with the post from Maman, it makes alot of sense and certainly by reducing the amount we drink is definately progress.
I set myself a challenge last night of going out with friend and not drinking, i offered to drive but friend said she was happy to drive which gave me a reason to think, 'oh well i will just have 1 drink', but i didnt. I feel ready to try taking baby steps towards having a night out without alchohol, not going to commit to doing this all the time, but will try it every now and again. We are off to a gig tonight and again im planning not to have a drink, i will offer to drive. Have a good Sunday everyone xIt’s not what you have in your life but who you have in your life that counts0 -
one more for me please!0

Well DH seems intent in driving me to drink today. Rubbish day with silent vitriolic war of words thought I would resort to drink but didn't want to give him ammo about drinking (he is no saint re alcohol but doesn't drink a lot ) he was doing fine with the housework without adding fuel to that fire!Start info Dec11

ShaggyxWhat do we do when we fall? We get up, dust ourselves off and start walking in the right direction again. Perhaps when we fall, it is easy to forget there are people along the way who help us stand and walk with us as we get back on track.0 -

Other half and I have drank every day since September 2011. Stressful jobs & disposable incomes mean that every night we are having 2 or sometimes 3 bottles of wine. When I know I'm going to have booze inside I start having an internal "excited" feeling. It is worrying me! For Lent I managed 4 clear days only!
to the MSE wagon. That sounds expensive!!!!!!!!! Jump into the April challenge if you like... 14 days left. Or join in May. Just pledge the days you want to try and be alcholol free (AF) or you can go TF (target free) or just pop in for a chat....
